Germania is derived from the words germ and mania, crazy happy about germs. No actually, Germania the word is similar to Britannia. It came from the ancient Roman form of the names but only Britannia remained an English word while Germania got switched to Germany which sounds more English.

Yeah, in english you call it Germany. But since this dude is from Belgium..there is where you call it Germania..same like here, in Romania where we also call it Germania not Germany :)
