Oh okay, Ive heard good things about them, and im actually considering the cheap flux core welder for a go cart build this summer. Could you do a tool/ shop tour sometime?

Thanks. Its a Hobart Handler 140 MIG welder, but I am not using gas. I am using the flux core. I only have a standard 115 volt outlet, so that limits my choices in welders, and this welder was something I can get locally. Harbor Freight sells a Flux Core welder for under $100, but I wanted a better quality welder and this was in my price range.

It wouldn't make sense to pay a shop to do something like this, because the cost would probably be greater than the value of the mower. Its just a fun project to do if you have a welder.

Odd ball q but what would you charge for something like that. I know it's time and material but your amount. I get caught up in those sort of thinks don't have the welding exp ether and put in extra time.

I noticed you said you're new to welding. If you haven't already done so check out youtube channel "weldingtipsandtricks" The guy REALLY knows what he's talking about and offers tons of great advice and also great shots of the weld process too. It's mostly tig but he throws some mig in there too.

What kind of welder do you have? And a very well produced video as always, Thanks!
