I don't agree with your evaluation at all. First off, the information needed to play Mario Kart is much different from the in formation needed to play a historically accurate RTS. Second, the manuals you were comparing were made by several different companies and would therefor have vastly different writing styles. Lastly, the quality of the manual is just about the worst metric one could use to rank games. I would much rather developers put there efforts into making a quality game than a qual

bring back age of empires style rts :( fed up of the C&C / starcraft 0 defense over in under 30 minuites crap. I had so much fun in age of mythology playing 5+ hour matches ending in a massive all in of both teams armies after resources ran dry.

Yeah! I remember getting a game when I was younger and being excited about getting the book out. I used to buy games from pawn shops pretty often, they had a lot of cartridges in there with no book, and they sold em for like 2 bucks. Even as povo kid, I thought paying 2 bucks was a rip with no box/manual. Yet I happily paid 30 bucks for DK country 3 2nd hand (with box+manual of course :)
