**Always follow the instructions in your repair manual when doing repair or maintenance work on a motorcycle. Manuals can be found at the dealer and online.**
There are two throttle cables attached to the throttle grip. The bottom cable is used to open the throttle and the top cable is used to pull the throttle closed. Each cable has two adjusters. The first adjuster is located near the carburetor and the other adjuster is near the throttle grip. Minor throttle adjustments are made using the adjuster near the throttle grip. Major throttle adjustments are made using the adjuster near the carburetor. Throttle grip rotational free play on this motorcycle should be 1/8 - 1/4 inch.

- 10mm Wrench
Specifications:
- Throttle Grip Rotational Free Play should be 1/8 - 1/4 inch Less
