True. The most expensive part of the conversion process is refitting your exhaust system with stainless steel. Water vapor will quickly rust out the mild steel commonly used in today's standard exhaust pipes and mufflers. The good news is, this conversion would delete the need for expensive and environmentally damaging catalytic converter manufacturing.

To the below posters...don't be ignorant. The combustion of HHO gas yields water as one of its products. It's a self regenerating process and is why the government will never let it see the light of day. More energy is derived from the combustion of HHO than it takes to electrolyse water. ~168kj/mol of water can be obtained easily. Just a fast method is needed

I'm surprised that this man is still alive. The powers that be ordered the military to murder Stan Meyers "which they did" back in the late 1990's because he invented a engine that ran on water. Every time this device gets invented, the inventor gets either murdered or prosecuted. The Lobbyists need to be publicly hanged and so do the asshole prosecutors that prosecute these great men. And where do they get these moronic juries that find these inventors guilty of inventing the water engine?

Jan 27, 2012 ThunderJunkOC Says:
Actually they still would, because even though its burning "water" you still need to lubricate the parts. if this was implemented in cars, motor oil would cost a fortune. At the end of the day you still need a combustion engine to get the horsepower needed to push the car so they still win.

The funniest thing about the video? It was on Fox News, and people still believe it.
It violates a few laws of physics, I won't lie... Mostly the one about conservation of energy - you can't create energy out of nothing, and so you can't power a car on *just* water. You'd need a battery to do electrolysis to turn the water into HHO, in which case, it'd just be more efficient to run your car on electricity instead.
