Harley only builds large motorcycles. Some of them weigh close to 800 lbs. The Jiffy stand not only rotates in and out, but the top of the shaft the stand pivots on moves in toward the bike when the stand is fully extended. This happens so the stand will lock in place and will prevent the stand from moving if the bike is parked on an incline and the bike trys to roll. So, the stands on HD motorcycles have more to do than what you find on your typical Japanese Bike..cont
