It would seem the ///M badge is getting pimped out more than ever. Once an exclusive seal of unbridled performance for the road without a modicum of compromise, it now appears on a 125i hatch to sell it's performance parts line. To be fair, the E28 M535i was an early example of an M-inspired 5 series, & performed well. But with the advent of M this & that -- from the outside it's easy to get lost in what ///M is trying to achieve. Until you drive one. Let's all hope THAT feeling never changes.
