But with a starting price of £12250, the BMW S1000RR is a fraction of the M5's £73k price tag. It has a dry weight of just 178kg and produces 193bhp from its 999cc engine - that's a terrifying 925bhp per tonne -- can go from 0-60mph in just 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 190mph.
